The UNWTO Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Tourism
The power of tourism as a driver of economic growth, a tool for development and a provider of employment reached important milestones in recent years, thanks to many hidden pioneers and visionaries who build today’s tourism sector. Since their inception in 2003, the UNWTO Awards recognize these prominent leaders for their excellence and innovative achievements which made a difference in many people’s lives and in the future of tourism.
