11th UNWTO Awards (January 2015)



A project promoting domestic tourism in Peru, an initiative for travelers to immerse in the Maasai community in Tanzania, an innovative marketing project from Amsterdam and an application promoting European tourism were the winners of  the 11th UNWTO Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Tourism (Madrid, Spain, 28 January 2015)

Internship Opportunities

International internships are an important tool to develop a competitive workforce in tourism as these provide young talents the opportunity to gain valuable experience in tourism with an international focus, while placing the very best in tourism in leading public and private tourism organizations. 

Through the reach of its network and close connections with the UNWTO Programme of Work and Members States, the Knowledge Network shares meaningful internship opportunities at UNWTO Headquarters, Affiliate Members, Member States and Knowledge Network Partners.

Support Scholarships

Scholarships promoted within the Knowledge Network Talent Development Platform can be funded by UNWTO Members and Partners for tuition, research, or educational expenses at an UNWTO Affiliate Member educational institution preferably those with a TedQual certified programme.
